Project Experience
Conducted monthly training for new subcontractors, assisted client project managers with prevailing wage and Section 3 reporting, with weekly submission of certified payrolls to capture Section 3 data and provide technical assistance. We have provided a monthly tracking of all workers separated by classification and by Section 3 workers within each classification, all worker hours, calculation of total Section 3 worker hours as a percentage of total worker hours further by Section 3 classification within each class.
Provided remote and on-site training for contractors and subcontractors on Section 3 requirements, documentation, hiring, and subcontracting. Supported outreach through bi-annual events, assists non-compliant subcontractors, ensures compliance with NYCHA agreements, and manages submission of Section 3 reports for approval.
Supported homeowners, landlords, and tenants impacted by Hurricane Sandy through home repair, elevation, rebuilding, reimbursement, and property acquisition. As part of the compliance team, we managed applicant documentation for HUD audits, including eligibility, income verification, benefits coordination, and rental assistance.
Provided guidance and regulations for housing and community development agencies across New York State. Conducted statewide training workshops on HUD Section 3 compliance and maintained documentation of outreach to Section 3 businesses, residents, and stakeholders supporting economic opportunities for low- and very-low-income populations.
Comprised of 3 NYCHA development sites. We attended targeted M/WBE outreach events hosted by NYC and NYS agencies and trade organizations. Hosted quarterly outreach and match-making events, conducted one-on-one contractor assessments, and analyzed monthly M/WBE utilization and minority workforce participation reports across all sites.
Our team promoted diversity and expanded opportunities for M/WBEs in NYC by developing user-friendly models, performance benchmarks, and sustainable partnership platforms. Led research and data analytics, designed outreach programs and technical assistance tools, conducted interviews and assessments, and maintained project deliverables.
Executed outreach to maximize M/WBE contractor engagement through tradeshows, conferences, expos, community meetings, and media channels. Conducted four outreach and two workforce events annually, coordinated with partners and subcontractors, provided referrals, and monitored M/WBE participation. Supported local worker recruitment, ensured reporting compliance, and recommended corrective actions for noncompliant contractors.
